Lying close to the Cap Fréhel headland and the
superb beaches of Vieux-Bourg and Les Sables
d’Or, this 18-hole links course created in 1925 features
an integral watering system. The sandy soil
beneath the original 9-hole course allows it to be
played comfortably in all seasons. All 18 holes were
completely remodelled in September 2003 in order
to create a more technically challenging and varied
layout. The major part of the work saw the reconstruction
of all the tees and the creation of several
grassy and sandy bunkers bordering the greens and
fairways in order to add a bit of spice to the round.
Golfers should note that there is a completely hard
surface practice area and plans are in hand for a new
clubhouse.. |
